About me
I'm Amy. I've been doing this work for 15 years, and most of my clients find me through word of mouth .
I'm a trained coach and counsellor with roots in somatic inquiry, psychotherapy, process oriented psychology and parts work.
Everything I’ve learned, I’ve applied first to myself. The issues that bring people to me aren't abstract — I've navigated my own version of most of them.
I offer a small number of sessions each month.
How I work
I don't bring a fixed approach and apply it to your situation. I follow you — the way you think, what your body is doing, what keeps coming up. You teach me how to work with you.
Most people find that what they've been fighting — the anxiety, the stuck pattern, the thing they're most ashamed of — turns out to be exactly where the opening is. It’s not something to fix and move past, but something to bring a little closer, and eventually, to stop being afraid of.
Sessions are in person, on the Northern Beaches.
